Dr. Lotus Ahmed is an American Board Certified Internist. She completed her residency training at New York Presbyterian Queens in 2012. She received the "Best Resident" award for two consecutive years. After completion of residency, she joined the Hospitalist group at NYP Queens for two years in an academic role training residents, receiving the "Best Attending Award".   She was then Associate Program Director on her second year as an attending physician.  This was followed by an administrative and academic position at Coney Island Hospital in 2014. Her continued dedication and passion for teaching earned her the "Best Teaching Award" at Coney Island Hospital.  In 2015, she began her outpatient primary care practice.

 

She has a comprehensive background in inpatient and outpatient medicine. She can quickly recognize acute ailments requiring hospitalization, as well as ailments that can be treated on an outpatient basis.

 

Dr. Lotus Ahmed and her team provide an ethical service to weave an individualized plan of care.
